The CoPperClicker Token (CPC)

  • Token Standard: CPC will be deployed as an ERC-20 compliant token on a scalable Layer-2 solution like Polygon to ensure low transaction fees and high throughput, which are critical for a game with a high volume of micro-transactions.

  • Dual Role: The CPC token serves a dual function, a common and effective model in GameFi :

    1. Utility Token: CPC is the primary medium of exchange within the CoPperClicker ecosystem. It is required for all in-game economic actions, including purchasing upgrades, minting and upgrading NFTs, and paying entry fees for special events.

    2. Governance Token: In the future, CPC will grant holders the right to participate in the CoPperClicker DAO. Staked tokens will translate to voting power, allowing the community to influence key decisions regarding treasury management, game development, and economic parameters.
